RIA takes part in the inter-university meeting of NERU–New Ruralities in Zürich

19 June 2024

Fundación RIA and the University of A Coruña are attending this week a new inter-university meeting of the Erasmus+ NERU–New Ruralities project, held at the School of Architecture of Zürich (ETH).

Following on from its participation in the NERU-New Ruralities project over the last year, RIA is attending this week’s international NERU–New Ruralities sharing days in Zurich.

The NERU-New Ruralities project is a joint exploration of European rural areas in the framework of an academic exchange between the Université Libre de Bruxelles, the Politecnico di Torino, the Universidade do Minho, the Universidade da Coruña and the ETH Zurich. In this partnership, Fundación RIA participates as a collaborator, together with Jan Zaman and Stephan Kampelmann.

After holding a first workshop with students in Bulgaria in 2023, NERU is now organising a new workshop to be held from 4 to 14 September in the Barbanza region, in which RIA will be the host entity and will support students in connecting with local agents and exploring different methodologies.

Find out more about the upcoming workshop in Porto do Son through the UDC call for participants.

Further information about the NERU–New Ruralities project can be found on their Instagram profile.
