Fundación RIA, as owner of the website www.fundacionria.org (hereinafter, the ‘Site’) as stated in its Legal Notice, informs users of the Site that it is controller for the processing of personal data carried out through the Site.

For the purposes of the applicable data protection legislation (including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 or the ‘GDPR’), Fundación RIA is controller for the processing of the personal data of the users of its website.

1. Information collected

The personal data provided will change depending on your use of the site, and is obtained in two ways:

1.2. Personal data provided by the User: this is the Email address, which is requested if the User fills in the ‘Subscribe’ newsletter form.

2. Purposes

Fundación RIA will process the personal data of web users in order to ensure secure browsing, as well as to send them the newsletter when they have subscribed to it.

The legal basis for such processing is the user’s consent, which will be obtained before sending the subscription form.

The legitimate interest of Fundación RIA for the processing is to send the newsletter to those users who request it through the ‘Subscribe’ form.

3. Recipients

Fundación RIA will not transfer your data to third parties, nor to countries outside the European Union, except in cases of legal obligation.

4. Retention period

Fundación RIA will retain personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes set out in section 2 of this Privacy Policy.

Fundación RIA will delete or anonymise your personal data once it is no longer necessary to achieve these purposes, except in cases of legal or regulatory obligation or when the data is necessary to exercise or defend current or potential legal claims, investigations and similar processes, in which case it may keep it blocked for as long as such obligations may arise.

The completion and sending of the newsletter subscription form is voluntary. The personal data you provide will be incorporated and processed in the files owned by Fundación RIA in order to be able to respond to your requests.

With respect to the personal data you provide us with, you may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, suppression, limitation of processing, opposition and portability of your personal data by sending an e-mail to: info@fundacionria.org or by sending us a letter to the following address: Rúa Virxe da Cerca, 6, 15703, Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Spain. In both cases you must identify yourself sufficiently with your name and surname.

In the event that you have given consent for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.

Furthermore, if you consider that there is a problem with the way in which we are handling your data, you can address your complaints to the appropriate data protection authority, being Agencia Española de Protección de Datos the one indicated in the case of Spain.

6. Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, in which case we will endeavour to notify users by posting a notice on the Site. At the top of the Privacy Policy you will see the date on which it was last updated.
