Casa RIA has several spaces for the development of an extensive programme of public activities, and hosts the offices of Fundación RIA and David Chipperfield Architects Santiago. Casa RIA offers its facilities to other entities for the development of activities aligned with the principles of RIA through collaboration agreements.
Among its main venues are:
—An exhibition room of 75 m2, located on the ground floor, connecting Virxe da Cerca street and the garden, which opens onto Belvís Park.
—A reception and conference room with a capacity of 50 people
—Office and meeting spaces
Additionally, Casa RIA is equipped with complementary support infrastructures for research and dissemination activities, which allow the development of public events such as conferences, debates, student workshops, research stays, exhibitions and other events.
The building includes:
—A Cantina, a gastronomic space that offers breakfast, lunch and catering service based on market, seasonal and local cuisine, with a capacity for 50 people
—12 bedrooms with a maximum capacity of 20 people, at the service of research programmes, internships and workshops in collaboration with academic institutions
—Terrace and garden, which allow the extension of A Cantina to the outdoor space and to host public events
Casa RIA is open to enquiries from institutions that share the principles of RIA.
